Kids and teens, ages 4 to 18, can take part in the contest, either individually or through their school.
[2] How many drawings can each child submit?
Each participant can only submit one (1) drawing.
[3] What is the topic of the contest?
The contest topic is:
“I Want The Museum To Be…”
Children are invited to imagine, draw and express how they envision the museum of tomorrow.
[4] Do we have to use a specific template?
Yes. All submissions must be created within the official contest template, which you can download from kidscontest.cycladic.gr.
[5] What kind of materials can be used?
Children can use any technique and materials they like (pencils, markers, paints, collage, etc.), as long as the work remains two-dimensional and fits within the template.
[6] How can I participate individually?
Individual entries are mainly submitted digitally via the form at kidscontest.cycladic.gr, by uploading a photo or a scanned file of the drawing. You can also send us your artwork by post or courier, and the Museum will make a digital copy.
Please note that the Museum does not return original works. For this reason, participants may send a printed copy of their work if they wish to keep the original.
[7] How can schools participate?
School entries may either be submitted digitally through the platform or, preferably, sent jointly by post or courier by May 20, 2026 (postmark date applies).
In the case of group submissions, the Museum of Cycladic Art will digitize all works, making it easier for schools to participate.
Please note that original works will not be returned, so schools can send printed copies and keep the originals in their files.
Submission Address:
