Entertainment in the context of the museum is not just about games; it is about the joy of discovery. Through participation, movement, observation and surprise, visitors engage with art and culture in a direct and meaningful way.
For children and young people, this experience happens naturally and effortlessly. They learn, experiment and express themselves without adhering to strict rules or following predetermined paths. This way, the museum serves as an open meeting place, where joy, curiosity and creativity constitute an integral part of the cultural experience.
Learning By Playing
At the Museum of Cycladic Art, play is transformed into exploration. Board games designed by the Museum, navigation puzzles and mystery games within the exhibitions, as well as hands-on workshops using objects from the collections, invite children to experience the Museum in different ways, more active and way more fun. This way, learning is connected with the joy of play, and a visit turns into a lively, engaging experience.
