{"id":166536,"date":"2026-02-06T12:29:03","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T09:29:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kidscontest.cycladic.gr\/paidikos-diagonismos-2026\/"},"modified":"2026-02-26T15:43:31","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T12:43:31","slug":"paidikos-diagonismos-2026","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/kidscontest.cycladic.gr\/en\/","title":{"rendered":"International Art Contest"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>What would you like the Museum to be?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Museum of Cycladic Art is transforming itself and is asking kids and teens for their advice!<\/strong><br>This year\u2019s 13th International Kids\u2019 Art Contest, titled <strong>\u201cI Would Like a Museum to Be\u2026\u201d<\/strong>, invites children and teenagers aged 4\u201318 to imagine the museum of the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Launching a new chapter in its history, the Museum opens a dialogue with children, giving space to <strong>imagination, creativity, and, for the first time, their voices!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What would you want a museum to be?<br>How do you envision it? Who would it be for? How would you like to feel there?<br>Is it a place of <strong>Participation, Inspiration, Entertainment, Stories, or Experiences?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Send us your drawing by May 20, either digitally or by mail!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the first time, you can also send a <strong>short voice message<\/strong> answering the same question. Your voice, together with the voices of other children, will help create the largest sound library of children\u2019s and teens\u2019 ideas for a museum!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the <strong>Youth Committee<\/strong> is being created\u2014a four-member teen panel made up of previous winners, who will actively participate in the final stage of evaluating the entries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The children\u2019s artworks will be showcased in an <strong>interactive digital exhibition<\/strong> as part of the 4th Cycladic Kids Festival in September, while the themes of the award-winning works will form the basis for <strong>workshops and artistic events<\/strong>.<br><\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What would you like the Museum to be?
