{"id":45891,"date":"2023-01-17T15:41:27","date_gmt":"2023-01-17T12:41:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kidscontest.cycladic.gr\/?post_type=activities&#038;p=45891"},"modified":"2023-02-21T13:13:01","modified_gmt":"2023-02-21T10:13:01","slug":"painting-with-a-pair-of-scissors","status":"publish","type":"activities","link":"https:\/\/kidscontest.cycladic.gr\/en\/activity\/painting-with-a-pair-of-scissors\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cPainting\u201d with a pair of scissors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>For children 7 to 10 years old<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Using the Japanese Notan technique<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drawing inspiration from the motifs and decoration theme of the \u201cfrying pan\u201d vessel, we will make our own decorative designs, which will magically unfold from a black square and will be colored by the color of our cardboard, mixing the theme of our work with its background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MATERIALS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Colored cardboard for our background 30 x 40 cm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Black square cardboard 15 x 15 cm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pencil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eraser<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Glue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PROCESS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Place the black square on top of the colored cardboard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using a pencil, draw geometric or organic shapes, patterns, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Draw simple shapes on the edges of the cardboard so that they can be easily cut out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cut exactly on the lines you drew. Attention! Our shape should not bleed out at all.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As we remove the shapes from the black square we carefully put them aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Glue the central piece of the black square in the center of the colored cardboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place the cut shapes of the square in their original position for easy placement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To glue the cut-out shapes, open them as you would open a book.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ready!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Design: Vivian<\/em> <em>Emmanouilidou<\/em>, <em>Video: Efthimis Theodossis, Motion Graphics: Efi Siafa, Music: \u201cHappy Life\u201d \u2013 FREDJI.
